Take a step back in time on the island of Nantucket. Once
one of the world's leading whaling ports, "the little grey lady"
has maintained its incredibly quaint and unspoiled appearance. It's
easy to imagine life of historic Nantucket Town as it was as you walk
the cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks. There are several options
for traveling to Nantucket: regular ferry, high-speed ferry, flying,
or a combination of any two. When arriving on Island it is very easy
for attendees to be on their own as all of the attractions are within
walking distance, or individuals may choose to wander the shops along
the main streets.

Upon arrival in Provincetown, there are many options on how to spend

Seashore. You'll see a part of Cape Cod that is rarely seen as you
travel through fragrant pine woods, fields of beach grass and beach
plum, and of course, through the sand dunes. You will see the beach
shacks of yesteryear, where many famous writers and artists lived.
Whydah Museum
Cape Cod has much folklore surrounding the early settlers and one
of the most famous is the story of the pirate ship Whydah. The Whydah
sank off of Marconi Beach in 1717 with a crew of nearly 150 men and
the treasures of almost 50 captured vessels. According to legend,
Captain Sam Bellamy was returning to Cape Cod to marry his true love
when he ran into a nor'easter and sank while she watched helplessly
from the shore. In 1984 the Whydah was discovered and its treasures
have been brought up ever since. The Expedition Whydah Museum is dedicated
to the only documented pirate ship ever discovered and all of the
treasures that have been raised.
Provincetown on own
Provincetown offers many activities that are sure to please or you
may choose to spend the afternoon at leisure wandering the streets
of this unique town. Provincetown is where the history of the New
World actually began - the Mayflower first landed in Provincetown
in 1620 before proceeding to Plymouth. The Pilgrims stayed in Provincetown
for 5 weeks before seeking a more protected harbor. You can spend
the afternoon learning the history of the area through many museums,
or you may want to stroll Commercial Street and enjoy its unique shops,
galleries, and restaurants.
